Terms of Service

Last updated: [ date: TBD ]
Draft for review. This is a working template, not final legal text. It must be reviewed and finalized by qualified counsel before launch. Items in [ brackets ] are placeholders.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the World Labs website and pre-launch sign-up flows (the “Site”) operated by [ legal entity, TBD ]. By using the Site, joining the waitlist, or applying to the panel, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

World Labs organizes expert evaluations of AI-generated games: vetted game developers play generated games under a blind, structured protocol and submit judgments that power benchmark leaderboards and licensed research datasets. The Site currently provides information about the service, a results waitlist, and application forms. Access to the evaluation platform itself is by invitation and may be governed by separate agreements (e.g., a panelist agreement or an evaluation services agreement).

3. Waitlist & applications

4. Benchmark results & content

Benchmark leaderboards, methodology descriptions, and published results are provided for general information. Scores reflect the structured judgments of individual expert panelists at a point in time; they are opinions, not guarantees about any product. All Site content is owned by us or our licensors and may not be republished in misleading or out-of-context form.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Site: no scraping at scale, no attempting to identify anonymized panelists, no submitting false applications, and no interfering with the Site's operation or security.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site, and our aggregate liability is limited to [ $100 / amount, TBD ].

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; the current version will always be posted here with its “last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of [ jurisdiction, TBD ]. Questions: [ hello@tryworldlabs.com, TBD ].
